After every move, Winboard will tell the engines how much time they have left. I seem to be having a problem with this though. If the time control is, say, 40 moves in 5 minutes, immediately after move 40 Winboard tells the engine how much time it has left _before_ the 5 minutes for moves 41-80 is added. This means that my program moves instantly on move 41 thinking that it has 40 moves to make in whatever time is left over from the previous 40 move block. How do other programmers get around this?
