Let's all try to be as civil as possible. 0. There is no need to doubt that games submitted were really played by anyone (including -- for instance -- Odell or Thorsten). We don't have their exact same machine setup and many programs will play with some randomness. Hence, just because we cannot reproduce a move does not mean that it did not occur. 1. Let's recognize that everyone has favorite programs. Mine:(Crafty, Hiarcs, Rebel). We might (therefore) have an unknown bias when reporting. E.g., I play ten games with crafty against "Bogart45" and lose 3 times, but only post the PGN for the 2 wins because it is more interesting to me. Therefore, we do not see the three losses and it seems I may be insinuating that Crafty always beats Bogart45. 2. Let's try to not accuse people of wrongdoing, and at the same time, not unnecessarily take offense by "reading between the lines." 3. The best moderator is ourselves. Whenever an appointed moderator intervenes, it is a pain in the posterior. So let's do our best to moderate ourselves. IMO - YMMV. Watch out for that Chapucabra.
