Michael,

I have a different take.  In my opinion, ChessMaster 6000 plays a very strong
and interesting game of chess, but the interface is so pathetic that I never use
it.  My hope is that Mindscape focused their energies on improving the
interface.

Remember that ChessMaster is mass market product - and for that segment, the
engine is already *plenty* strong.
