I hadn't been using tablebases for a long time (I don't have the space) but I decided to use the 3 pc tablebases and Crafty v16.18 would only see some of them. I did not try decompressing them though, I just got rid of them because I didn't want to take the time to figure out what was going wrong. It could be (?) that Crafty v16.17 does not have this problem. As far as I know I did everything right, but I should have checked the other programs to see if they could see all of the tablebases but I didn't, sorry. Pete
