Hi Robert,
The answer to your question is that Hiarcs 7.32 has much more chess knowledge
than the 7.01 and this causes it to not reach the ply depth as fast, but this
is more than made up for by the fact that it is a "smart thinker".
All this knowledge tends to slow down the amount of positions per second that
it can analyse but can still reach the correct answer in a given position
sometimes even faster than the fast thinkers like Fritz etc. and this is all
because of the fact that it thinks "smarter" than fast thinkers do! Fast -
thinkers rely on finding the correct answer with minimum knowledge, and this is
what enables them to search fast.
I hope that i got the point across alright and this was what you were after.

Regards,Terry
