You can talk about them all you want, your right to do this is *long* established. I respect your desire to do the right thing, but the fact that games are public record is what makes chess literature so abundant. Grab a chess book from your book shelf, and see how many games are given in there, including the names of both players. Do you really think that the authors of those books got permission from both players to publish the games? All you are doing by not publishing the names is making it harder for others who might want to quote the game to attribute it properly. If it makes you feel better, think of it not as a matter of protecting privacy but rather as a matter of giving appropriate credit. bruce
