Fritz 5.32 may be a bit better but if you can beat Hiarcs then your next games should be with Kasparov and his friends. Frankly, you can have as much fun with CM4000 but Hiarcs has a far superior analysis capability and the endgame tablebases speed up difficult endgames. For tactical workouts you should set Hiarcs 7.32 to game in 15 minutes to 30 minutes. This will prevent you from wasting too much time on chess. In short, you made a good decision. Tim Frohlick
