Look at the position after: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5 d5 5. exd5 Nd4 6. c3 b5 7. Bf1 Nxd5 8. Nxf7 Kxf7 9. cxd4 exd4 10. Qf3+ Nf6 I very much assume that white should better not eat the rook (11. Qxa8 Bc5 12. Bxb5 Re8+ 13. Kf1 c6) but have no book on Two Knights here to verify. I am interested to hear about how different chess programs evaluate the position. On my meager Pentium 133 Crafty 15.15 doesn't get it within four hours. Of course the position will be in quite a lot opening books which have to switched of for this test. Regards, Peter
