Go up one level in this thread
Computer and humans already play huge number of games against each other, so that is not what is missing. What is needed to turn all that raw data into a usable information is a systematic way of reporting and gathering such experience so others can read it. A possible solution would be to have, say here on this board, a review section, similar to CCC message board, but where each thread would be dedicated to one program (+ separate threads for comparative reviews, sorted by program names and linked to single program reviews). Each member could then post their review, games, impression, etc, in the thread for a given program. There would be also a separate section with basic info on each reviewer, especially business affiliations, so reader can account for any inherent biases. Aslo responses, corrections and comments could be added to other reviews. Companies/authors would be invited to respond as well (the reviews could be emailed to them). Moderation or editing would be more strict than for regular discussion board, to keep reviews and debate strictly on topic and polite.
