Welll,

Computer Chess is surely not new. But,has fallen back cause chess programms
have dominated the market.

The above definition saws clearly what a Chess Computer can do.

It can "play" chess at some level but surely it cannot understand a single
position! A CC uses mainly a Brute-force method and some kind of positional
features, e.g. the safety of the king, pawn weaknesses etc.

A CC has tow main drawbacks:

1. The speed of the equipment is very low and
2. It "likes" a lot taking material(eating pawns!).

I think that if you play carefully aginst a CC you 'll get at list a draw!!

PS: I wouldn't suggest someone to practise with such a "chess player"!!
