You can make it even stronger by importing Bob's book learning file. It is in the /common/enormous directory, I think the name of the file is learn.dat. Full tablebases increase even more crafty's strength in general, but they are notorious when facing other computers. And if you want even more power, you can get a multi-processor machine, crafty will take advantage of the extra processors (something that no commercial engines does now, but Deep Junior will). And besides, crafty offers powerful analysis features. You can even tune some engine parameters to modify its style.
