I ve tried to explain it exactly. When in the first position a white pawn stands
on its first square Crafty isn t able to announce a mate (the Tb PP vs P is
installed!) like Hiarcs or Comet B 04 do. When I put the white pawn e2 to e3
Crafty has no problems to find a Mate. Please try it out.
