People have been making assertions about this for a long time, based mainly upon computer chess religion I think. If you are of the main-stream "slow searchers need more time" sect, you'd have to say that the slow searchers would benefit from faster hardware, since an increase in hardware speed is the same as a longer time control on a slower machine. So what you say sounds heretical. bruce
