well i dont know the formula for figureing chess ratings .but one thing i know
is that rebel beat a GM today at standard time controls . so if rebel is not at
GM level it is not too far off the mark .to an ordinary person i really dont see
how they could tell the difference . also it is not going to matter much anymore
if programs get better or not , because hardware speeds will eventually take
care of this debate about if programs play at GM level or not .eventually cm
2100 will be stronger than Kasparov .but it will take time maybe 15 or 20 years
,but it will happen .
