Dann I don't know if I can buy the line that something must be at stake for
the game to be real. Why don't you try beating or even drawing a grandmaster
under any circumstance. What's at stake is usually Ego, no grandmaster likes to
lose, how do you think they got to be grandmasters in the first place??
Grandmasters just don't give away games, under any circumstance, unless ofcourse
they are experimenting on icc or something, But an official event like the Wcc99
where millions of people are watching, i don't care if one penny is on the line,
they are going to play their hardest. So this money ideal is beloney to me.
Also I don't need more games, all I need is my good common sense, when I see a
programmer like Schredder Drawing World champion (2700+) Karpov, And Rebel
Drawing Annand, And Fritz beating 2600+ Sokolov, this is enough for me , I know
that no international master could achieve such results, and if he has please
let me know!, I will come back and retract all that I have said.
