It's probably ok, I've never used it, if you look in the "common" directory, in
there, there's several directories, and one of them is the "medium" directory,
and inside that is the file:  medium.zip  8509 Kb so it's a somewhat big file,
but you can use it to compile a somewhat small opening book.

You'll really want to get the crafty.doc file and read up on how to do that,
it's not too hard to do.  When you read the doc don't be too concerned if Bob
tends to talk over your head a little bit, he's not seeing it from the
perspective of someone new to the program, but you can find your way around and
probably learn a bunch of stuff about Crafty in the process.

Try doing a search for "book" and it should put you in the area.
