Garry Kasparov tells us the top commercial computers are playing at 2600. I suspect he is an authority on the matter. I am quite willing to accept the results of the Rebel Century challenge games after it has reached a total of ten against players rated at 2500+. We do, however, have to figure in hardware problems, as in the Hoffman game. They are a part of the whole deal.
