It is not very strong, especially if you're used to the
top PC programs. From few days fo playing against it,
I'd say around 2100 against humans (it is weaker
against other programs than against humans).

If you're can choose the packaging, pick Diamond II,
which is a smallish size board with pieces, instead of the
Sapphire II (identical program & hardware), since Sapphire II
has very hard to read LCD display. Thing I found the most
annoying about its display (and returned it because of it)
was that the lower row of letters is touching the lower
boundary of the LCD frame, which is the same color (dark grey)
as the letters on the LCD display. This it makes it very hard
to differentiate between letters/symbols which differ only in the
lower pixel line, e.g. E and F (and several other specialzed
symbols). You have to look at it at almost exactly 90 degrees
to read it reliably. Never seen worse designed LCD display
on anything.
