OK, so as the author of Chess Tiger let me confirm to all of you that I believe
that turning PB OFF in both opponents is absolutely harmless.
I hope this is clear now: I don't care if you use Tiger with PB off, as far as
the opponent has the same time controls settings and has PB off too.
If a volunteer out there wants to confirm it by experiment, here is what he
could do:
* Play 200 blitz games by Auto232 between prog A and B running on 2 identical
computers, PB on, and if possible book learning OFF too.
* Run the same test again with PB off.
I have done the test already, and the results were similar in both cases.
