Well, it was not smooth sailing all the way, but today, October 7, 1999, is our 2nd Anniversary. Some quick two-year CCC statistics: 8467 CCC Members 1,130,471 Hits Average Hits Per Day Now: Approximately 2,400 (up from 1,600 a year ago) Busiest CCC Day Ever: June 16, 1999 - 3781 hits! I think we have made a home for those who love computer chess, and, perhaps along the way, we have proven that moderation (when done in moderation) can allow free and lively discussions without constant personal attacks. Human nature is such that there have been plenty of battles along the way, plenty of hurt feelings, a smattering of resignations, and skirmishes galore, but there is one constant in all of this: CCC has survived and is flourishing! We at ICD/Your Move are proud to have been host to this forum, and we look forward to 10,000 members and 2 million hits in the new millennium. Our web site will introduce a new look Tuesday, October 12th, along with shopping cart and secure server as part of the celebration. Congratulations, CCC!!! - Steve (ICD/Your Move)
