Install, Interface, Bugs - CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of your problems posted in another post below are valid ones, and the things that shits me the most is that it does change drivers and it does not give you the option to not install them. It stuffs up some of my other programs, which I cannot sacrafice to keep this crappy CM program on my system For the first time I have now uninstalled this program and put back all my current drivers. It stayed on my system for a total of 4 hours. I put it on my PII 450 and it runs slower than CM6K. Which is crap. I am unable to return this piece of crap, I am unable cause once you open the cd the stores where I live will not take it back unless it does not work (with all the bugs, even worse than CM6K ever was, I am now stuck with it till Mindscape get around to putting out their usual stuff up patches to fix this) I wonder with all these bugs if I do not have a case to say that the program is faulty. I have already emailed mindscape with all the gripes and things I found a total disgrace. This has to be one of their worst put together programs they have ever put out on the market. With no new engine, and the crap install, the bugs. I think this program is nothing more than ripping off the mass market. Rahter than an improvement. Do not bother to ask me about the database or opening book editor, cause my system seem to crash when I open these things up. Or if I do get to play with them for a minute my computer crashes and freezes when I click on things. Oh I forgot to add, that my computer froze on 14 occasions while playing with this masterpice of computer programming which I had no other alternative than to reboot my bloody computer 14 times. SHAME MINDSCAPE, SHAME I have never been one to have software problems on this large scale of stuff ups. My system has been able to run games and software fault free where as my freinds systems have crashed. And to add insult to injury I loaded this on a relative computer and spent the next 4 hours finding and installing old drivers and software that this program stuffed. List of programs that did not work on my system and my Friends after installing CM7000 (there was other, but once these programs did not work, then you know something is wrong) Lotus Organizer Quicken Accounting MYOB Most of my Card games - Pretty Good Solitaire 99, Solsuite 2000, and just about every other game that used direct X and other multimedia driver and software that CM7000 decided to load over. Even with patches, I am unlikely to load CM7000 again, and even future Chessmaster programs. My motto is, you stuff up my system on a grand scale like this, I never use your program again, EVER. CM6000 will be my last Chessmaster program loaded. I am not willing to take the risk or the time in fixing up my system again. It is not worth it. To say I am pissed is a large understatement. VERY LARGE
