Didzis,

Thanks for the post. I have been a long time buyer of CM (4Kturbo, 5K,
and 6K). I would not be surprised if the CM7K book is stronger and the
MAX is an improvement (I can get this on my CM6K as well, sometimes?).

I have not seen any reason to upgrade though. I would recommed CM6K and
CM7K (when the bugs are fixed) to a new person, but not as an upgrade.
Just my opinion. I have always thought (perhaps wishfull thinking) that
Book upgrades, board upgrades and minor changes should be provided as
download (patches or free upgrades). For me to continue to buy CM in the
future, I would have to see proof (SSDF) that the engine is stronger (and
in the top 5) than the previous release, better db functions at a minimum,
and no CD refueling. I have taken CM 6K off my machine since I don't use
it very often, and when I do, I have to insert the CD (yes, I have the
patch and it works, but I do not use it that often).

Just my opinion. At the price, CM is a good value, But Crafty is the best
and I will stay with it. :)

Best Regards,
Chris Carson
