Well, it seems Chessbase changed something in later updates of the Fritz32 music
functions even tho they say they didn't. Since I don't play the music when I use
Fritz I don't know when the problem started. At one time if I selected music but
not Bach it would play the modern pieces one after the other. And Bach played
OK, but I don't know if it moved into the many Bach folders in the Music
directory. Now if I select music and not Bach I must exit Fritz and reboot. I
will then play one modern piece (or a part of it) and then it stops. It seems
that if I select Bach it will play one piece after another, but I am not sure
the circumstances. As I said, at one time I didn't have this problem. Chessbase
says this is a Windows problem, not a Fritz problem. But if the music played OK
on earlier versions but not now I must disagree. Of course if I want to play
music I can always boot a midi player, select whatever music I want, minimize
the midi player and then boot Fritz. Anyway, since I don't use that feature it
doesn't bother me that much. Don
