GNU Public License...the distribution terms that apply to most GNU packages. It can be fond at www.gnu.org. The license that is included forbids distribution without express written permission...I don't think that is compatible with the GPL. (I have been wrong on this before though) That would make GNU Chess and GNU Free Internet Chess server the only software that calls itself GNU but is non GPL or Lesser-GPL. Computer chess is a strange world :) -- GCP
