You're wrong: I have partecipated to MS newsgroups a while ago when the first releases of Mail&News (today Outlook Express) were released. At that time there were nice discussions about the betas and requests of the new features. An I'm pretty sure most of top requested features were added release by release. So the used the beta testers also for feedback, and today Outlook Express is by many considered one of the best all in one Mail+News programs. regards Franz
