Never ever is a long time.  Maybe we will all be in for a surprise someday.

I do agree that not having (probably) the greatest chess machine ever conceived
and implemented available for examination and experimentation is a real trajedy.

I can scarcely think of anything I would enjoy more than a large block of Deep
Blue time.
