Nothing like a good old Deep Blue thread to set off a stream of posts. I'm with you on this one. Knowing from another post that this Hsu/Campbell statement was intentionally just a private e-mail to someone (Friedel ?) who decided to make it public in a magizine alters my perception of it. My original assumption was that Hsu/Campbell made it public and wondered why they didn't simply email the involved parties.
