Maybe time for Johann to dump Chessmaster and Mindscape, If this is going to be the line Mindscape now takes then it does not derserve and would be an utter waste to have his engine in this program. I would like to see it in a whole new program targeted for the Chess people. And as a last resort to have it as an engine for Fritz and the like. I would not like that to happen, but Mindscape's path is not good for the King Engine anymore unless they take a better route. Maybe Johann had already realised this and why there is no new king engine, he can do much better and if he is not thinking that, then he should start too.
