I consistently run the Hiarcs Mark test for Hiarcs 732 on my IBM Aptiva PIII 500 megahertz machine and consistently score 375 plus or minus 0, max time set at 600 seconds. Can you tell me how this translates into Elo rating? I observed that scores run on 400 megahertz pentium machines were in the range of 311. Also, can you give me a practical example of what it means to adjust the hash relative to the time controls? How can I configure the machine to play at it's optimum level at varied time controls? Thanks, Cj Morris
