AMD K6-2 is faster on average (clockwise). Comparison P3 vs AMD K6-2 Hiarcs is slightly faster on Pentium Fritz is slightly faster on AMD Junior and Nimzo is faster on AMD Rebel is much faster on AMD CST is very much faster on AMD Crafty is much faster on Pentium AMD K6-3 is better to clearly better then K6-2 AMD K6-3 is about 125% faster vs Pentium (T Szub) Athlon is about the same as AMD K6-3 for most chess-programs.
