At 10 Ply Hiarcs Plays 1. e4 Nc6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 e6 4. Nf3 Bb4 5. Bd3 dxe 6. Bxe Bd7 I found two games in the Powerbooks but they didn't have Bd7. if you take the rating of the moves for white and black you get 1. 2469 2377 2. 2440 2340 3. 2406 2386 4. 2447 2201 5. 2670 1656 6. 3148 White: 2596 (2486 if you don't count move 6 sounds more reasonable) Black: 2192 Now is Hiacrs at 10 Ply complete with the white peices just a strong expert?? I know since this isn't a full game it doesn't say much but i would bet that if it were playing the 2 guys with the black peices from this openning it would've won as well... so is 1 more ply going to make that much of a difference? Has anyone else done this with other programs?
