The rules are: One move a day. Fritz gets the move at noon (all times MEDT = GMT+2) and has one hour. So at 1300, his move is published. Germany has until the next day at 1150 to decide on its move (by simple majority). At 1800 hrs, three masters (Elisabeth Pähtz, GM Reiner Knaak, Matthias Deutschmann) make suggestions and publish their analysis, but the participants can choose whichever move they want. Every day 5 winners are drawn to get some Eidos software or a huge box of chocolates by "Ritter Sport". During the game you can bet on either Fritz or Germany (or a draw); all participants take part in the final sweepstakes; the grand prize is some PC, the other prizes are all sorts of Lara Croft gear. After 60 days, the game will be arbitrated. Moves so far: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 Suggestions: 3.Bb5 (Pähtz,Knaak), 3. Nc3, 4. a3 , Scottish w/ reversed colors (Deutschmann). If you're interested, I'll keep you posted. Sven.
