Today in a 5 2 blitz game on FICS, my program reached this position and played a5!, which wins. I guess this shows the advantages of a permanent brain, as it couldn't find the same move in over one and a half minutes after the game. 3Q4/kp4pp/p3qr2/8/P1N1p3/1P1nP2P/2R3P1/6K1 w - - bm a5; How long does it take your program to see a5 as substantially better than Qd4? If you program gives a5 a score of about 1 to 1.5 pawns for white, it isn't seeing everything. :) CM5500: 6 seconds!
