They might look very similar even now if I gauged the figures. What I wanted to do was find out _relative_ ratings of many programs, including the freeware. I think that I am doing the right thing and if you compare the auto232 scores with my testing you will see a very high correlation. I have a lot of testing to do, before my list is reliable enough though. BTW, a reply to James Robertson: I will sort out the list, offer it as a table as soon as I have more time. Just dumped it onto the blank *.htm last night... wishing to catch up with the lost time :)) Djordje
