However, it is still in it's infancy. And since my partner and I only occasionally get to work on it, it will probably be a few years before I have something concrete. I have not read Botvinnik's ideas. I was aware they existed, but I did not want to be influenced on how to implement a next generation strategy. Although I have read quite a few papers on computer chess, I have tried to not let them force us into set molds on how to think about it. I'm hoping to get it as a playing program on ICC by the end of the year (but that may be wishful thinking based on how slow we are progressing). And finally, we do not have any strong players helping us yet. However, I am sure that we will be getting some help once we get to the position planning stage. KarinsDad :)
