When you start a new iteration, and search the pv to the new depth, is it better to allow null moves -- or not allow them until after the pv has been searched. Brief testing doesn't seem to show a difference. My guess is, that since the PV is the best line returned from the previous depth, it would seem better to search this line completely, (not try to cut off with a null move until the search of these moves is complete).
