Elisabeth Pähtz: (Qe2)
I suggest 5.Qe2. Most people castle kingside, but I never do, as sometimes I
prefer to move the king to the queenside. I've won many nice games with Qe2,
most recently one with a queen sacrifice against a grandmaster at the German
Women's CS. Besides, in my old chess manual it was written: "By moving your
pieces, get a strong center". That's what we do with Qe2.

GM Reiner Knaak: (O-O)
I would play 5. O-O. Basically there is no alternative.

Murugan Thiruchelvam: (O-O)
I would play 5. O-O. That is the main line, and White always gets a slight
advantage. You bring the king to safety and seize the center. Fritz will
probably play 5... b5, and maybe the Marshall attack, since it likes open games.
But in that case I would have a good plan.

Matthias Deutschman: (O-O)
We play 5. O-O. The inevitable happens: the great theoretical duel. The next
moves can be left to the theorists. 4.Ba4 Nf6 5.O-O etc. "Open Ruy" closed as
well...

(I don't really understand Matthias' last sentence in German neither; can
somebody help?)
