I am not sure what the problem is. I use a command line like this (this example plays against comet): winboard -size small -debugMode true -cp -fcp "d:\arasan\5.2\win32\toolsrel\aras anx.exe -ics -H 5000 -t" -scp d:\chess\comet\comet-wb.exe -sd d:\chess\comet If you turn on "debugMode true", you will get some output in the winboard.debug file which may be helpful. The -t option on arasan also causes it to output some extra info.
