I have spent a lot of time combating this, but if crafty chooses a bad book line there is little it can do since the search is not involved. It would be an interesting experiment, as several players have commented on the difficulty of locking things up during the last year, particularly a couple of very strong IM players that used to almost draw at will, but who now are lucky to win one game in 20.
