It hasn't played a game for a really really long time. It logged on for a short time, probably during 1996 as you suggest, but I don't believe it played any games. I've been doing ICC since late 1994 and I don't believe it has played a game since I've been around. At that time I started, 2650 would have been an outrageous blitz rating. Commercial micros running on P5/90's were doing in the 2500's to low 2600's, and really strong GM's were getting into the mid-2600's before being dragged back into the 2500's. Over time the high end stretched out, until now a GM can go over 3000. But at the time I started, scratchy was at 2871, which is beyond amazing. There was *nothing* that could have approached that rating in early 1995. I wish I had seen it play, but I didn't. The little bit of evidence that I see left over is really incredible though. bruce
