I'm wondering what other programs play in the position after 11. Nd2.
r2qr1k1/ppp2ppp/3b4/3P1b2/3Pn3/3B4/PPQN1PPP/R1B2RK1 b - -
This is what my modified Crafty 16.19 saw when it played Bxh2. It sees the
return of material, but it is still a negative score. Incedentally, would this
be called a real 'sacrifice'?
9-> 20.71 -0.22 11. ... Bxh2+ 12. Kxh2 Qh4+ 13. Kg1
Ng3 14. fxg3 Qxd4+ 15. Rf2 Re2 16.
Bxe2 Bxc2 17. Bh5 Bf5
After playing Bxh2, what do other programs think?
The score went up to 0.00 a couple moves later, but then dropped again. Later
into the game, I was about -1 in score. After 27. Ree7, for example, my score
was -1.35. Here is the position:
2r3k1/3RR1pp/p1p2p2/p7/8/1P3NP1/q2B2P1/6K1 b - -
Do other programs also think black is losing?
By move 49, black is almost +1, however.
8/7p/8/5k2/p2N4/2B3P1/5KP1/1r6 b - -
Thanks. :)
