Until there is headgear that locks the players eyes only on the board at hand, with, built in ear plugs so they can't get verbal hints from some side cheater, i will continue to assume that "when enough money and/or prestige/ego is on the line, humans will cheat at chess!". How can we stop any of the players in this Grandprix from having access to all sorts of opening analysis, and computer suggestions? There has been no mention of third party arbitrators watching as occured in the Rebel match. I get cheated 20 times out of a 100 when i play on icc right now . Currently internet chess should be called "cheaters heaven chess". One way that people currently cheat is that they have side cheaters. They will have a third party (internet person) ICC telling them good moves that a program is suggesting, the cheater doesn't even need to have a program running on their hardware (that could theoretically be detected) when they are getting the info through tells! Further many people have secondary computers to provide info thus this idea that interfaces can be designed that check to see if something else is running on the opponents computer is pointless. I guess in the end people will still watch this match(unless SOMEONE :), starts spreading cheating propaganda all around the net to save this precious game!
