Hello Heiko,
I'm interested in what you used to "gauge" your ratings. I haven't received my
Fritz 6 yet but I have been playing with my "New" Rebel 10c. Since Ed let the
auto232 go I have started using it for testing until the Rebel Century arrives.
It is surprising to me that at the moment Rebel 10c is at the top of my Blitz
rating list after 93 games. It's sad to note that tonight the first inkling of
problems with the auto232 (Actually auto232 has a lot of problems) showed up.
Rebel was playing Hiarcs 7.32 and played a stupid move that even I would not
play. Of course with auto232 off and I hid the "Learn" file also Rebel would
not even consider the blunder. I don't think I will let this bother me though.
I think I will let Fritz or Hiarcs analyze all of Rebels losses and when I find
a non repeatable blunder I will discard the game. By the way do you use the
auto232 at all? The manual is in German and I can't figure out if some of the
problems are caused by incorrect settings or what.
