This comes from reading many posts here. I and probably a few other people here were under the impression that the name for the new chess chip program would be Deep Blue Junior (using the same name). I and probably a few other people here were under the impression that Dr. Hsu had an agreement with IBM to use the name. I and probably a few other people here were under the impression that most developers of software products with a shelf life of more than a year (such as Junior) go out and get a trademark for their product. If any of these impressions are false, then this entire issue (as you point out) is moot. My apologies if part of my discussion here was based on potentially incorrect assumptions. KarinsDad :)
