I simply use the function "Create Elo start list" on all the blitz games played
so far.

That's interesting. I haven't played many blitz games with Rebel against other
top programs, but I remember that Rebel 8 won a blitz tournament which I played
last year. You can still find it at Djordje's Chesspages (called "Free progs vs
Commercials" in the archive section). Rebel won this tournament very clearly,
and I think it may really be one of the strongest blitzers, although I
(surprisingly) didn't here much about it's blitz strength yet.

The idea to play Rebel against other top programs in blitz (and maybe Genius and
CM too) sounds very interesting to me. Maybe I'll start a series of blitz games
played on two computers with ponder on, and factor these games into my existing
blitz database. Really, that sounds very interesting. Let's see, if F6 and
Hiarcs7.32 can stay on top then :)

I don't use auto232 for the blitz games (the 5min blitz games are mostly played
on one computer using the Fritz interface), but I used it for a few of the 60min
games. Just bought auto232 two or three weeks ago (silly me, it's so expensive
;-). I didn't see any anomalies yet, but I watched every game live, that Fritz 6
played via auto232 in these 60min matches.

I'm still not sure, if I'll play the Rebel Century vs. Fritz games by hand or by
auto232. I guess I'll use auto232, but watch the games live of course (I'm
playing these 60min games for my own excitement, nothing else), and stop using
auto232 if I see anything suspect. There are enough games already, which I have
to play by hand, like the games against CM6000 or Genius 5.

Greetings,

Heiko.
