I changed the original backround color because I decided that it was pale & sick
looking, and it changes a little once & a while

I find that notepad does not work well in Windows 95, it is more or less ok in
the old win3.1 though. You can use the Dos editor because Win95 comes with a
good Dos editor that'll open up to 9 files at once (much cooler than the old
one. You could open them with Wordpad, but I don't like it very much.

What I've been using is PFE (programmer's file editor) see the link on my site,
it's a free download, there's a few commands that are diff than the standard
Windows commands, but it does loads of cool stuff, one of the things I like
about it is that it has a command to switch to the directory that your open file
is in, and then you can edit some code, then use it's built in Dos prompt and
it'll open up the dos box to the directory that you're in, and you can then
compile with djgpp. So I'm a big fan of PFE.
