sometimes you cannot use the computer in an active way for example when you
sleep so if you have an important game to analyze and do not want to waste time
you should use the program for part of the time in a passive way.

I disagree
they can be used also to find some positioanl ideas.

I agree that it is not the best thing to do but it is not the most stupid thing
to do.

not using the computer or using it only to check that you did not
blunder(assuming that you are not a very strong player) is more stupid thing to
do.
