Not bad. Install takes 20 minutes and does a fairly good job.

I remember all the troubles I had installing Windows 95, and I would say Linux
so far does it better. No plug and play shit, but it works.

One trick: if you use KDE and find yourself with a large desktop displayed in a
small screen (having to move the mouse around to see all the desktop surface),
try the [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[+] key combination.

Or open a console, use the "su" command to log as root (administrator), then
start the "Xconfigurator" command. You can also try "XF86Setup" (beware the
lower/uppercases) but on my system it was not installed by default. Then
configure it to have only one screen resolution (800x600 is not bad).

When it works, I recommend warmly playing a little bit with the game "xbill"
(you'll find it in KDE under K/Personal/Mandrake/Games or something like that).

I like this game a lot, I let you figure out why!!! :)

Good luck. Learning how to use Linux looks a little bit more difficult than
learning Windows, but I'm sure it's worth it.

Does somebody have a good address where I could find an online manual for Linux?
I could print it and read it while I am in the bathroom, then in several months
this knowledge would be used to build a Tiger for Linux...
