If you want to imply that Fritz 6 is no improvement over Fritz 5, I disagree
with you radically. In the first place, Fritz 6 is not only a new engine, but a
new interface. You can argue that the engine has not been improved because it is
not X Elo points better/worse than F532, whatever that means, but it does play a
more enjoyable game of chess and this is a clear improvement. And if in spite of
this you don't like it all that much, it is always possible to use it with
Hiarcs, Junior and over 20 other engines.

As for the interface, Fritz 6 is not only better than before. It is light years
ahead of anything else aesthetically and functionally. It is a beauty and it is
fun. Without a hint of a doubt in my mind, it is my "desert island" chess
program.

Only my (very strong) opinion, of course.
