Did you use chessmaster6000 with the default parameters(including
selectivity=6)?

I know from my experience that the similarity between programs is usually not so
big.
In some tactical games I can get >90% similarity between different programs but
I remember that I checked similarity between Junior and Fritz in one quiet game
(Mark Young-Rebel) and got less than 50%.

I know that Chessmaster6000 and Ferret are different programs
(Ferret is good at blitz when chessmaster is not good at blitz so the result of
87% similarity seems strange to me)

How did you find your 28 games?
